Adán Tejo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florián Badilla to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Albin Zambrano got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Omar Angeloni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. Darell Frey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stowe City's Darell Frey got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Lyles during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ulysses Lyles hit a great ball. Hugo Orlando Hrabina acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Odilón Bauzá.
