Donald Kearns hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Peter Cuevas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horace Vaughn in the 4th minute. Horace Vaughn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Cuevas came out and tried to block the shot, but Horace Vaughn slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. Peter Cuevas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Garland in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Horace Vaughn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience was convinced that Berry Corley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Cuevas was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Norbert Garland notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of New Whiteland FC's Peter Cuevas. Peter Cuevas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Garland in the 24th minute of play forced New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper Peter Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quentin Marshall hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Norbert Garland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flames FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Garland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Cuevas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Orval Crow rounded New Whiteland FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. Norbert Garland took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Cuevas. Peter Cuevas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 46 minutes into the match, New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper Peter Cuevas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horace Vaughn. 47 minutes into the game, Berry Corley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Peter Cuevas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quincy Burks made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Horace Vaughn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Peter Cuevas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57thth minute of the game Norbert Garland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Whiteland FC's Peter Cuevas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Donald Kearns sped through New Whiteland FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter Cuevas. Peter Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orval Crow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berry Corley scored 11-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Cuevas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peter Cuevas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Garland in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, New Whiteland FC's Blaine Longoria got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Norbert Garland notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of New Whiteland FC's Peter Cuevas. Peter Cuevas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Norbert Garland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Peter Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Garland in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Berry Corley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Cuevas. New Whiteland FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berry Corley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0.
