After a rather tough play, Ornopata's Xosepe Iñigo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Tommie Kirkpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuriko Bernaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepe Iñigo in the 10th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willard Dubois to maneuver through the defense. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuriko Bernaldo in the 15th minute of play. Armando Salto charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Salto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Armando Salto. Thanks to some nice moves Ari Laird could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Obregón Busto however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Zuriko Bernaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommie Kirkpatrick was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Ornopata's Rogerio Logares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rogerio Logares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ornopata protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogerio Logares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Creekers booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogerio Logares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Obregón Busto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emerson Higgins. In the 32nd minute, Xosepe Iñigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornopata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xosepe Iñigo in the 37th minute of play. Obregón Busto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Gamble in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Zuriko Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Kirkpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Countess's late challenge caught a Ornopata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Countess helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ornopata booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Countess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calle Inda struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Tommie Kirkpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ornopata.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zuriko Bernaldo to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Creekers defense, Zuriko Bernaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. The Creekers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommie Kirkpatrick should have stopped the shot. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuriko Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Xosepe Iñigo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick. Tommie Kirkpatrick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Zuriko Bernaldo sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Ornopata's Zuriko Bernaldo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Inda in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Calle Inda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Kirkpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ari Laird to maneuver through the defense. Zuriko Bernaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommie Kirkpatrick came out and tried to block the shot, but Zuriko Bernaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 85th minute. Zuriko Bernaldo's late challenge caught a Creekers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zuriko Bernaldo helped the player get up and apologised. Ari Laird fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Obregón Busto having to interfere. The Creekers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ornopata were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
