The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Trinidad Khan fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Airlines's protests and gave Trinidad Khan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, Trinidad Khan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lumír Vosecký didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Soin went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonah Ryan got free with Amado Ogazón in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Big Lebowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Nicanor Mede shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lumír Vosecký came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DREAM TEAM WORLD reached it. 17 minutes into the game, Jay Pritchett threw the ball into play from the sideline. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Rosendo Dominix quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lumír Vosecký stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Soin's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Lumír Vosecký showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Lumír Vosecký showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Soin in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Denis Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lumír Vosecký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lumír Vosecký stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Soin's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind American Airlines's goalkeeper Lumír Vosecký, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonah Ryan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, American Airlines's Chandler Bing made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Ogazón was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trinidad Khan got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Armin Trabucco. 61 minutes into the match, Denis Soin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of American Airlines's Lumír Vosecký. Lumír Vosecký was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Cecilio Bernad replaced Conrado Cordarrell. American Airlines's Trinidad Khan suffered a fractured collar bone after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cecilio Bernad hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Marko in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lumír Vosecký saved American Airlines from getting behind. Amado Ogazón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Couch in the 77th minute of the match. Amado Ogazón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Couch, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The throw-in from Jay Pritchett in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Rosendo Dominix. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Marko in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lumír Vosecký prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Ryan in the 81st minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Amado Ogazón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexis Couch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lumír Vosecký made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Marko in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chandler Bing in the 94th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Amado Ogazón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Jonah Ryan came free, but Amado Ogazón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see American Airlines lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
