In the 6th minute, Alejo Veliz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dale Skinner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Ryan in the 11th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper José Maria Buljubasich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alejo Veliz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Club Atlético Lea Papá fans jumped to their feet.
