Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luis Aravena made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Aurelio Cortes got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Luis Aravena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Aravena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Luciano Cronshagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 20 in the game by Rex Ellis from a close distance when the talented Tomás Las Casas managed to make a qualified save. Magallanes's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Tomás Las Casas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Phil Riggs. Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Aravena in the 39th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rex Ellis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Las Casas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Riggs in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hipolito Fritz hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Luciano Cronshagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rupert Simmons kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Tomás Las Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Ellis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tomás Las Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cronshagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Luis Aravena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Rex Ellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Simmons in the 72nd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Whitehead. In the 81st minute, Hipolito Fritz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Grigore Proca. The goal made the score 1-2. 88 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Aravena came free, but Grigore Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Las Casas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyson Helton in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Wallace Newman. In the 94th minute of the match Filipo Paut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grigore Proca skillfully saved the ball. Grigore Proca made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Hipolito Fritz sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Magallanes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
