The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jason Douglas. The Socavon FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Socavon FC's Martin Chapado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferran Rial in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldo Hills saved Atletico Patoruzu from getting behind. If Baldomiro Contero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Marcelo Marcello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Patoruzu's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Marcello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toni Schumacher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Felix Plummer got a free kick in the 27th minute. Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferran Rial in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Garaile Pacio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills. Waldo Hills was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Ferran Rial came free, but Waldo Hills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Douglas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Fidencio Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidencio Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, one of Socavon FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Socavon FC. The goalkeeper, Toni Schumacher, was totally fooled by Atletico Patoruzu's Marcelo Marcello, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Calvin Rodriguez's late challenge caught a Socavon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calvin Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. When Fidencio Lima came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidencio Lima couldn't finish the play.

Waldo Hills made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Martin Chapado sent off a good shot on target. Ferran Rial scored 1-4 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldo Hills, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 minutes, Franko Tio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Socavon FC and the Atletico Patoruzu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franko Tio to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Franko Tio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Douglas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toni Schumacher. Socavon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferran Rial in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldo Hills prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Socavon FC's Diagur Mellado was substituted for Gartxot Estopinal. Eliseo Cavazos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Atletico Patoruzu getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eliseo Cavazos hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Patoruzu's Calvin Rodriguez got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Calvin Rodriguez off the ground. Socavon FC's Ferran Rial couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atletico Patoruzu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garaile Pacio got free with Waldo Hills in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldo Hills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferran Rial in the 81st minute of the match. Toni Schumacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Rodriguez in the 86th minute of play. Waldo Hills made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eneas Leal in the 91st minute. The Atletico Patoruzu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Socavon FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Socavon FC.
