Mete y Raspa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brooklyn SC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Mete y Raspa FC got a freekick which was hit by Truylos Rebolledo. Bert Pöggeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Hess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlie Bucket showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Busk in the 28th minute of the match. The referee showed Rius Garaizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mete y Raspa FC! Bert Pöggeler had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Douglas Pace's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Rius Garaizar with Joselito Negro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 62nd match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ash Fox to maneuver through the defense. Tristan Neyda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Charlie Bucket when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
