Buba Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Vedeja in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell got control of the ball when Augusto Hurtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Oporto in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Felipe Medina hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Buba Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save ★ Lobos FC ★ from getting a goal against them. Jaime Lovo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Lovo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when ★ Lobos FC ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Lovo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Loja S.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ★ Lobos FC ★ throughout the match.
