In the 3rd minute, Conrado Nicholas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Criston got free with Cresconio Carreño in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Chus Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo ScrugenFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kevin Valderrama hit a great ball. The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when Deportivo ScrugenFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Valderrama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerome Boateng made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonathan Chap immediately put the ball in play. Paulino Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cresconio Carreño having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Boateng in the 21st minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Cresconio Carreño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chus Carreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Galácticos del Pueblo's Jonas Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chus Carreira in the 32nd minute of play. Daniel Cepeda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cresconio Carreño made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Galácticos del Pueblo's Daniel Cepeda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Galácticos del Pueblo's Jerome Boateng got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jonas Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chus Carreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chus Carreira was the one to do the kick off. Jerome Boateng made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Conrado Nicholas immediately put the ball in play. 56 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's Paulino Galoer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cresconio Carreño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Galácticos del Pueblo's zone, Chus Carreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Urdin came out of the goal and Chus Carreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerome Boateng hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonas Urdin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Valderrama in the 71st minute. When Jonathan Chap fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galácticos del Pueblo's protests and gave Jonathan Chap a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute Chus Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Rainerio Uria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Criston hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Criston came free, but Cresconio Carreño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Criston scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cresconio Carreño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galácticos del Pueblo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo ScrugenFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
