With a little luck, Galácticos del Pueblo's Jonas Urdin got control of the ball when Hidalgo Gallegos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ismael Rossell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Vedeja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jonas Urdin made a huge save. Galácticos del Pueblo's Jonas Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidalgo Gallegos in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Justo Otsoko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galácticos del Pueblo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loja S.C. the free kick. Justo Otsoko hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hidalgo Gallegos got free with Jonas Urdin in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Loja S.C.'s Fabricio Vedeja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Urdin. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 46th match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xefe Elizondo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Conrado Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galácticos del Pueblo's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Nicholas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Rossell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Nicholas made a kick off. Omar Criston in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ismael Rossell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Criston got free with Ismael Rossell in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Cepeda hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Conrado Nicholas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ismael Rossell made a huge save. Ismael Rossell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Rossell was a little too slow when Zacarias Lehior got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-1. Galácticos del Pueblo's Jonas Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Vedeja in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Nereo Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Vedeja came free, but Jonas Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis-Antonio Barraza in the 79th minute of play forced Galácticos del Pueblo's goalkeeper Jonas Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Nicholas in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Rossell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Criston. After a defensive mix-up in Galácticos del Pueblo's zone, Hidalgo Gallegos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Urdin came out of the goal and Hidalgo Gallegos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Fabricio Vedeja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Justavino Centeno hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match Galácticos del Pueblo got a corner. Loja S.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerome Boateng ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jonathan Chap heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
