The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when Galácticos del Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javiero Menendez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Urdin. Borussia Dortmund's Bermudo Mestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Nicholas in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Nicholas in the 37th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Bermudo Mestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frasquito Quijana couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Borussia Dortmund's Frasquito Quijana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Omar Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reimundo Olarria might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Urdin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reimundo Olarria ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Paulino Galoer made a precise shot to the right of Bermudo Mestre. Borussia Dortmund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 89th match minute, Galácticos del Pueblo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Lehior to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, Borussia Dortmund's Demesio Tarapiella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Urdin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borussia Dortmund reached it. 93 minutes into the match, Daniel Cepeda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bermudo Mestre. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Cepeda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Reimundo Olarria hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Borussia Dortmund's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
