Galácticos del Pueblo's Jonas Urdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Galácticos del Pueblo from getting a goal against them. Sandro Cavareda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Omar Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiel Pinksteren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jonas Urdin made a huge save. In the 14th minute Zacarias Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Cavareda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, AFC Richmond's Fernando Tolhauzsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Urdin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Omar Criston scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Cavareda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Galácticos del Pueblo's Nunez Serafo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Garzo got free with Jonas Urdin in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rafael Maria Cousiño hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, AFC Richmond's Fernando Tolhauzsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When Remicio Price came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the AFC Richmond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remicio Price couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Conrado Nicholas made a precise shot to the right of Sandro Cavareda. AFC Richmond's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Omar Criston put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sandro Cavareda. After 40 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Remicio Price. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emiel Pinksteren hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Aburto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Tolhauzsen in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match, Omar Criston got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sandro Cavareda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Fernando Tolhauzsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Jonas Urdin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC Richmond made a substitution. Felipe Hernández replaced Emiel Pinksteren. AFC Richmond's Aníbal Marraccini was substituted for Fernando Tolhauzsen. When AFC Richmond's Saturnino Aburto in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sandro Cavareda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Criston. Jonas Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Marraccini, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Galácticos del Pueblo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Lorenz to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Remicio Price notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Galácticos del Pueblo's Jonas Urdin. Jonas Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandro Cavareda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Criston in the 90th minute. Galácticos del Pueblo's Jonas Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Marraccini in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AFC Richmond fully deserved thier win.
