With a little luck, Black Knights FC's Trenton Call got control of the ball when Guillermo Escalona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Black Knights FC's Trenton Call played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Escalona in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Marcos Palma got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Sidney Lin came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Black Knights FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Lin couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, one of Black Knights FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for ►Las Mercedes F.C◄. José Ramos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Trenton Call. 1-0. Trenton Call showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Escalona in the 14th minute of the match. Black Knights FC's Trenton Call proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Black Knights FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 20 in the game by Guillermo Escalona from a close distance when the talented Trenton Call managed to make a qualified save. Black Knights FC's players were relieved. Sidney Lin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Black Knights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Nóbrega. 48 minutes into the match, Guillermo Escalona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trenton Call. Black Knights FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Escalona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diómedes Rodriguez to make the kick off. When Totín De Leon came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans jumped to their feet. In the 70th minute Totín De Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trenton Call saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymundo Kirkland, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Escalona came free, but Trenton Call reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes Black Knights FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Ramos who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s José Ramos to fire away a dangerous shot which Trenton Call despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guillermo Escalona might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trenton Call. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Escalona ran back to his position shaking his head. Diómedes Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Trenton Call tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
