Joaquin Ispuzua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ishmael Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ishmael Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Osorio Ubago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Ispuzua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Del Piero came free, but Joaquin Ispuzua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Nicholas Ochavarri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diegotxe Botella. After 24 minutes, Perutxo Echaniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC and the Vanadio F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC got a freekick which was hit by Perutxo Echaniz. The JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicholas Ochavarri should have stopped the shot. Diegotxe Botella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Nicholas Ochavarri made a huge save. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ishmael Rico hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Lilian Thuram shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Ispuzua came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC reached it. Alessandro Del Piero took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Ispuzua. In the 64th match minute, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perutxo Echaniz to maneuver through the defense. Nicholas Ochavarri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Peregrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
