Walter Huarte had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Baldomiro Paul's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Walter Huarte came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Baldomiro Paul. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Leonardo Raheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astillero del Guayas the free kick. Leonardo Raheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 16 minutes of play, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Leonardo Raheiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Huarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, Leonardo Raheiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Walter Huarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laureano Oñez y Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ulizes Sola made a great header on Astillero del Guayas's corner, it was just that ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Modesto Bessoayn managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Astillero del Guayas defense, Leonardo Raheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Huarte. The Astillero del Guayas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Huarte should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Dani Galiana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Bessoayn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Raheiro in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Raheiro in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulizes Sola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Modesto Bessoayn made a huge save. Ulizes Sola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Modesto Bessoayn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Leonardo Raheiro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Raheiro couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Byrne Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Huarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Raheiro was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Mata. After 53 played minutes ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Jacindo Abaroa. Walter Huarte didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Leonardo Raheiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Modesto Bessoayn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulizes Sola in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Astillero del Guayas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baldomiro Paul was slow to take the kick. During this time ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s corner Baldomiro Paul fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walter Huarte quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marques Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Leonardo Raheiro got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byrne Hughes to maneuver through the defense. When Zarando Eguizabal fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astillero del Guayas's protests and gave Zarando Eguizabal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Zarando Eguizabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Walter Huarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laureano Oñez y Loyola was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Laureano Oñez y Loyola got a free kick in the 92nd minute. It was beautiful to see Astillero del Guayas's Marques Martin in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
