The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Todos al Fondo fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Todos al Fondo's Ronaldo Palet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 7 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Palet came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gaspard Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Avendaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Todos al Fondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Avendaño to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Echeto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agapito Payet having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Todos al Fondo's Gaspard Gil got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Gorbea Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ronaldo Palet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Todos al Fondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Palet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Asteguieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CD Suscal booed when Todos al Fondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspard Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Gorbea Helguera came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Asteguieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Palet's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Agapito Payet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xoan Golpe in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xoan Golpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goalkeeper Sandro Asteguieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Avendaño. Sandro Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorbea Helguera in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, León Buisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 61 minutes, Ronaldo Palet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Todos al Fondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Palet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Todos al Fondo were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Avendaño went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivan Echeto hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CD Suscal's Sandro Asteguieta got control of the ball when Rodolfo Avendaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gorbea Helguera came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Todos al Fondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorbea Helguera couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, CD Suscal's León Buisan got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Todos al Fondo got a corner. CD Suscal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Avendaño ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rodolfo Avendaño made a great header on Todos al Fondo's corner, it was just that CD Suscal's Sandro Asteguieta managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Palet in the 81st minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Sandro Asteguieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Ronaldo Palet put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sandro Asteguieta. If Gorbea Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
