Zxavian Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xoan Golpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes of play, El Pulpo Paceño's Dolfos Abenda made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Asteguieta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Xoan Golpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ramalho in the 17th minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Sandro Asteguieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maximiliano Carranza fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Suscal's protests and gave Maximiliano Carranza a yellow card for diving instead. Maximiliano Carranza kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Zxavian Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xoan Golpe in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ramalho came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xoan Golpe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, CD Suscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xoan Golpe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Echeto in the 46th minute of play forced El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Zxavian Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 47th minute of the match Xoan Golpe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xoan Golpe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Xoan Golpe hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Echeto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandro Asteguieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prejun Abendano in the 57th minute of the match. Sandro Asteguieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CD Suscal's Sandro Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prejun Abendano in the 64th minute of play. León Buisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Zxavian Abeitia made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Ivan Echeto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zxavian Abeitia. El Pulpo Paceño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Echeto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
