Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Luis Dittborn started the match with the kick off. Zxavian Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogerio Berecedo in the 4th minute of play. Zxavian Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Meazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Dittborn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zxavian Abeitia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Rodrigo Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Luis Dittborn took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zxavian Abeitia. Zxavian Abeitia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 14th minute Steve Vaid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zxavian Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Vaid took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zxavian Abeitia. Zxavian Abeitia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Giuseppe Meazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zxavian Abeitia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Vaid in the 21st minute of play forced El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Zxavian Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the El Pulpo Paceño defense, Steve Vaid kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zxavian Abeitia. The El Pulpo Paceño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zxavian Abeitia should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Quico Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Arnaldo Detmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zxavian Abeitia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zxavian Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Vaid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Giuseppe Meazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Chillán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prejun Abendano was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Steve Vaid recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zxavian Abeitia. Steve Vaid showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Zxavian Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Meazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Dittborn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Alfaro was substituted for Juan Luis Dittborn. Zxavian Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Luis Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Alfaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mogel Abella hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Zxavian Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Lacunza in the 79th minute of the match. Prejun Abendano scored 1-8 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Ignacio Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zxavian Abeitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Vaid in the 84th minute. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when El Pulpo Paceño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolfos Abenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zxavian Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Luis Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Juan Luis Alfaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zxavian Abeitia was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when El Pulpo Paceño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevez Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Lacunza in the 94th minute of play forced El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Zxavian Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Inter de Chillán left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Pulpo Paceño.
