CD Suscal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Pepino’s the free kick. When Miguel Hernánde Arrué came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the C.D. Pepino’s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Hernánde Arrué couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes C.D. Pepino’s got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Hernánde Arrué. 26 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Hernánde Arrué came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Suscal's Sandro Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Asteguieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Aliste came free, but Sandro Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Hernánde Arrué blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Asteguieta having to make a save. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alejandro Pujadas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xoan Golpe in the 48th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ferrán Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xoan Golpe was the one to do the kick off. Sandro Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Aliste in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, CD Suscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xosepe Mella to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Miguel Hernánde Arrué managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D. Pepino’s's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Hernánde Arrué was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Ojeda hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Miguel Hernánde Arrué managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Pepino’s's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Hernánde Arrué was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Asteguieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Asteguieta made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Isidoro Blanchetau sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute of the match C.D. Pepino’s got a corner. CD Suscal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Ojeda ran over to the corner to take the kick. CD Suscal's Sandro Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the game Ivan Echeto made a throw-in which León Buisan played forward. Ivan Echeto made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Xoan Golpe however managed to control. In the 79th minute, Rafael Ojeda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Miguel Hernánde Arrué had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute Miguel Hernánde Arrué shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Miguel Hernánde Arrué managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D.
