OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. The El Pulpo Paceño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zxavian Abeitia should have stopped the shot. El Pulpo Paceño's Zxavian Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Walczak in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Walczak in the 46th minute of play forced El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Zxavian Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iordache Opincaru to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when El Pulpo Paceño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mogel Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zxavian Abeitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Opincaru in the 71st minute. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Pancho Garita replaced Jesus Cortez. OROTINENSE's Ruhi Uluöz was substituted for Juraj Múdry. Zxavian Abeitia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacek Walczak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 78 minute of play. Nuno Orihuela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruhi Uluöz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zxavian Abeitia came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruhi Uluöz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 84th minute. With 92 minutes on the clock, Alfonso Rulli commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Alfonso Rulli hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. OROTINENSE played a much better game than El Pulpo Paceño and deserved their victory. The El Pulpo Paceño players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
