The tension between the CD Suscal and the Discípulos de Ayn Rand players grew even worse after the yellow card. When León Buisan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Abella to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goalkeeper Sandro Asteguieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Abella. Maximiliano Carranza hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Rene Abechuco tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sandro Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Abella in the 85th minute of play.
