The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Txilar got free with Pascal Avalos in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes FC Anderlecht Huachipato got a freekick which was hit by Felix Txilar. S.D. Bajen's Pascal Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Txilar in the 17th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of S.D. Bajen's goalie and right to Alexandrino Gameiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. S.D. Bajen's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vitaliy Fedchenko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pascal Avalos came out and tried to block the shot, but Vitaliy Fedchenko slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dong Cheng in the 28th minute of the match. When Felix Txilar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Txilar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Anton Trimble got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Anton Trimble. Roberto-Carlos Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Pascal Avalos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. S.D. Bajen's Pascal Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Monte in the 66th minute of play.
