Benigno Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Pereta in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Joaquim Pereta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of San Pablo FC's Benigno Bernaldo. Benigno Bernaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florin Quelia was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and 沈翔崇 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 沈翔崇 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. San Pablo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Dragón F.C the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Dragón F.C's zone, 沈翔崇 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Quelia came out of the goal and 沈翔崇 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 沈翔崇 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Florin Quelia made a huge save. In the 38th minute of the match San Pablo FC got a corner. Golden Dragón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Moreno ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, San Pablo FC's Danilo Ralondo got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 沈翔崇 got free with Florin Quelia in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Pereta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If 沈翔崇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florin Quelia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 沈翔崇, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 沈翔崇 might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Quelia. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because San Pablo FC had won, even though Golden Dragón F.C had held more of the ball.
