After 8 played minutes, AFC United's Archibaldo Ahumada shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clive Shilton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC United reached it. Eleder Borrellino hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Frasco Esquivel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Gøth in the 10th minute of play. Frasco Esquivel came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Tala Bosques del Jaure's Tadeu Gøth. But to his dismay, Tadeu Gøth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nemanja Vidic hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Gøth got free with Frasco Esquivel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Tadeu Gøth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frasco Esquivel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Clive Shilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector-Luis Conllas in the 33rd minute of play forced Tala Bosques del Jaure's goalkeeper Clive Shilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frasco Esquivel was a little too slow when Tadeu Gøth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Tadeu Gøth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala Bosques del Jaure's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Gøth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save AFC United from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeu Gøth made a kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Archibaldo Ahumada commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gündüz Engiay took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frasco Esquivel. Frasco Esquivel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Hector-Luis Conllas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Conllas to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Tala Bosques del Jaure's 庄广乐 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frasco Esquivel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Roegelio Moyua got a free kick in the 66th minute. Tala Bosques del Jaure's Alberto Cantera was substituted for Innocenzio Sesse. Tala Bosques del Jaure's Clive Shilton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Tala Bosques del Jaure from getting a goal against them. Pirro Pereta struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Clive Shilton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC United. Frasco Esquivel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 庄广乐 in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Nemanja Vidic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 庄广乐 in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tala Bosques del Jaure fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
