The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nabar Hinojos to strike the kick off in the second half. Nabar Hinojos charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 61st minute, Rodger Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanner Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bart Villanueva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Estevao Caro. In the 81st minute Estevao Caro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Villanueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Xepe Collantes in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Canalla de Chicago's Emmanuel Akers. When Rudolf Pendleton fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Canalla de Chicago's protests and gave Rudolf Pendleton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Rudolf Pendleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
