Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Rodney Urbina made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Milton Casco got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodney Urbina. With a little luck, River CBBA's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol got control of the ball when Gilbert Guzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Khairul Swee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Ángel Santoro having to make a save. In the 28th minute, Khairul Swee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Carrington in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Wallace Whatley hit a great ball. Elliot Orozco kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Tobias Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River CBBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of River CBBA booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wallace Whatley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tobias Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Ángel Santoro was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Khairul Swee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. River CBBA's Tobias Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Khairul Swee to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Abarca. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khairul Swee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute River CBBA were awarded a corner. Tobias Abarca went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Julio Olarticoechea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. A. Independiente's Miguel Ángel Santoro did a great save. Tobias Abarca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Miguel Ángel Santoro made a huge save. River CBBA were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after C. A. Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Abarca took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Abarca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Ángel Santoro. That made the score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Abarca in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Ángel Santoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Abarca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Ángel Santoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Khairul Swee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Ángel Santoro having to make a save. River CBBA's Cheng Ang Ning was substituted for Tobias Abarca. River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado was substituted for Khairul Swee. In the 91st minute of the game Wallace Whatley made a throw-in which Gilbert Guzman played forward. Milton Casco struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River CBBA.
