Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) 3 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Ervin DeJesus came free, but Opah Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Opah Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervin DeJesus in the 5th minute of play. Phil Vine might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Opah Gol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phil Vine ran back to his position shaking his head. Opah Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Vine, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Ervin DeJesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Opah Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phil Vine took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Opah Gol. Opah Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Reeves during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Thomas Reeves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Alonso Villacorta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GuateFortín and the Racing Miami Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Villacorta. Franco Di Giambattista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Pagomari in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Fernandez came free, but Franco Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Franco Di Giambattista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led GuateFortín's Dirk Behrens to fire away a dangerous shot which Franco Di Giambattista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Opah Gol came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Shane Smiley. But to his dismay, Shane Smiley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Fernandez came free, but Franco Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Pagomari was the one to do the kick off. Ervin DeJesus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Opah Gol firmly grabbed it by the left post. Racing Miami Futbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ty Boyce in the 52nd minute. The corner led Racing Miami Futbol Club's Ty Boyce to fire away a dangerous shot which Opah Gol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Opah Gol made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Phil Vine sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Julio Asad got a free kick in the 56th minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Merrill Banks replaced Ervin DeJesus. Merrill Banks took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Opah Gol. Opah Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Franco Di Giambattista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Fernandez in the 61st minute of the match. Dirk Behrens kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. GuateFortín made a substitution. Milton Umaña replaced Victor Valenzuela. 71 minutes into the game, Eliseo Umanzor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GuateFortín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Umanzor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Opah Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Godwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd minute Denny Godwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Opah Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Fornos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Almada in the 81st minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Franco Di Giambattista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Merrill Banks notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of GuateFortín's Opah Gol. Opah Gol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maicon Coutinho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Merrill Banks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GuateFortín's Opah Gol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The GuateFortín fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Racing Miami Futbol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
