The U. de Tarapacá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Manteca should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Almada in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Manteca saved U. de Tarapacá from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Opah Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan José J.J.. 30 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Pagomari came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
