Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) CSD Concepción's Mario Flores started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Daniel Cabrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolás Villamil. Daniel Cabrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Daniel Cabrera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicolás Villamil, 2-0. When Daniel Cabrera came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the TZILACATZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Cabrera couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Mario Flores left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Flores in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Lira saved TZILACATZIN from getting behind. Chico Ortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Lira having to interfere. TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Manilan in the 26th minute of play. Chico Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Edinho Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 31st minute of play forced CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Nicolás Villamil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Daud Gazale sped through TZILACATZIN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edinho Lira. In the 35thth minute of the game Daud Gazale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolás Villamil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Daud Gazale sped through TZILACATZIN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edinho Lira. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-3 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Cabrera to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daud Gazale in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Daniel Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. TZILACATZIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Cabrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolás Villamil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Cabrera came free, but Nicolás Villamil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Cabrera in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolás Villamil saved CSD Concepción from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolás Villamil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. CSD Concepción made a substitution. Erasmo Lacunza replaced Chico Ortega. CSD Concepción made a substitution. Victoriano Sierra replaced Daud Gazale. The supporters of TZILACATZIN booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Lacunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Edinho Lira made a huge save. TZILACATZIN made a substitution. Salvadore González replaced Daniel Cabrera. After 73 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Manilan. It was beautiful to see TZILACATZIN's Gaspar Matro in action when he in the 74th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to TZILACATZIN getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hipolito Tiso hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Erasmo Lacunza made a precise shot to the right of Edinho Lira. TZILACATZIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-4. 82 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Lacunza came free, but Edinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Andrés Contador got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Nicolás Villamil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvadore González in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, CSD Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Lacunza to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Lacunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TZILACATZIN's Homero Thomson suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. TZILACATZIN's Flavio Jorrin was substituted for Homero Thomson. Joaquín Patron hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. TZILACATZIN's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
