TZILACATZIN's Javier Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 5th minute of play forced TZILACATZIN's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albino Calisto fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TZILACATZIN's protests and gave Albino Calisto a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Albino Calisto. TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Distiratsu. In the 19th minute of the game Armando Rosabel made a throw-in which Nunez Bidun played forward. After 29 minutes of play, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xzaiver Lorenzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Villafuerte Aramoyana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience held their breath when Javier Chico in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Xzaiver Lorenzo's left hand side. TZILACATZIN's Flavio Jorrin was substituted for Albino Calisto. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 52 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Bordat. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Saldivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the TZILACATZIN players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
