Nunez Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CSD Concepción's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tor Tuga in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Daud Gazale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzaiver Lorenzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Porteño Prowess FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Portero. In the 17th minute of the match Tor Tuga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xzaiver Lorenzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by Zilar Yurre from a close distance when the talented Nicolás Villamil managed to make a qualified save. CSD Concepción's players were relieved. Zilar Yurre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás Villamil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Nicolás Villamil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zilar Yurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Nunez Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Villamil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, CSD Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Flores to maneuver through the defense. If Zilar Yurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Porteño Prowess FC's Nunez Bidun got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute Joaquín Patron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzaiver Lorenzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alex Castro made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alex Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolás Villamil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Manilan came free, but Xzaiver Lorenzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolás Villamil came out of the goal and Alex Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alex Castro came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Porteño Prowess FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Castro couldn't finish the play. Xzaiver Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lacunza in the 71st minute of play. Nicolás Villamil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Saldivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Manilan in the 79th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Xzaiver Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CSD Concepción's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porteño Prowess FC the free kick. In the 94th minute, Juanjo Campaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Alex Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CSD Concepción eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
