Marcelo Penilla started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Simón Iturbe got a free kick in the 4th minute. Dorio Laje showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos José Vega, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Rui Shantala struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Dorio Laje didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. Radomil Bucyki came out of the goal and Marcelo Penilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Chiquito Escalante got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Penilla in the 26th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Radomil Bucyki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Dorio Laje had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos José Vega. In the 29th minute, Sverker Zander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31stth minute of the game Carlos José Vega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valhalla F.C.'s Dorio Laje was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zorros del Desierto's Radomil Bucyki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Penilla in the 36th minute of play. Valhalla F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodrygo Goes in the 46th minute. Javier Rufo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Radomil Bucyki. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Shantala was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Carlos José Vega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Valhalla F.C.'s Osmundo Bullan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomil Bucyki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Munio Aldana hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Javier Rufo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dorio Laje. Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st minute Marcelo Penilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Bucyki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Penilla in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomil Bucyki saved Zorros del Desierto from getting behind. Oriol Dagnino kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Valhalla F.C.'s Furtado Pellon was substituted for Rodrygo Goes. After 95 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Oriol Dagnino.
