Cristian Insaurralde kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Reed Molina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos José Vega's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Zorros del Desierto's attentive Javier Rufo managed to snatch the ball when Phil Greene made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. In the 33rd match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lane Martinez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos José Vega in the 37th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Reed Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos José Vega made a great header on Zorros del Desierto's corner, it was just that ForestFire's Reed Molina managed to reach the ball for a save. After 39 minutes ForestFire's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos José Vega who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Zorros del Desierto's Carlos José Vega to fire away a dangerous shot which Reed Molina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zorros del Desierto's Radomil Bucyki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Carlos José Vega put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reed Molina.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Nichols in the 51st minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Radomil Bucyki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reed Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos José Vega, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Cristian Insaurralde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Insaurralde. In the 59th minute, Patxi Claude got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goalkeeper Reed Molina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquito Escalante. After 63 played minutes, Zorros del Desierto's Patxi Claude shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reed Molina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zorros del Desierto reached it. A sloppy throw-in by Simón Iturbe in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ForestFire's Lane Martinez. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Patxi Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorros del Desierto's supporters rose to their feet, but Patxi Claude was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reed Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lane Martinez hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Reed Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simón Iturbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play Zorros del Desierto's Cristian Insaurralde was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Duncan Nichols managed to get in a good position for a shot. ForestFire's supporters rose to their feet, but Duncan Nichols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomil Bucyki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eddy Amos's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddy Amos helped the player get up and apologised. Eddy Amos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamar Knapp to maneuver through the defense. Reed Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Claude in the 88th minute of play. Edgardo Courtney scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomil Bucyki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Lamar Knapp got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th play minute Patxi Claude came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reed Molina. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zorros del Desierto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
