Omar Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 6th minute of the match. Leopoldo Jacinto Luque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Duardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vancouver Reds's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Valle was slow to take the kick. During this time Ríver Late's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Edmundo Valle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo did a great save. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmundo Valle hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Leopoldo Jacinto Luque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 22nd minute of play. Leopoldo Jacinto Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Jacinto Luque came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Duardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ríver Late's Adam Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolás Castillo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Adamski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolás Castillo scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Adamski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Omar Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Görkem Büyükada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lalo Vitoria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Gmoch to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Jacinto Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ríver Late's Luís Dias was substituted for Rick Haremeijer. Ríver Late made a substitution. Espiridion Ascot replaced Leopoldo Jacinto Luque. 57 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goalkeeper Adam Adamski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Görkem Büyükada. In the 59thth minute of the game Luís Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolás Castillo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Omar Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Luca Frântu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match, Nicolás Castillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adam Adamski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 76th minute, Görkem Büyükada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Guo Ke Peng replaced Görkem Büyükada. Vancouver Reds's Sima Marinković was substituted for Billy Oja. Paolo Musko hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Love Svensson to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Valle struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Omar Duardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ríver Late. In the last second Adam Adamski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sima Marinković in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Musko in the 94th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Vancouver Reds echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ríver Late had held the ball for most of the match.
