The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuddusî Erdemli got free with Yıldırım Yaman in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yıldırım Yaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Akdoruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yıldırım Yaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semi Akdoruk in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Buckmann in the 13th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yıldırım Yaman came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ozon Fc's Semi Akdoruk. But to his dismay, Semi Akdoruk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 19th minute, Semi Akdoruk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ozon Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 26 played minutes Asım Suat rounded Fenerbahçe's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Yıldırım Yaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asım Suat in the 30th minute of the match. Uğurcan Oğuzalp charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uğurcan Oğuzalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Uğurcan Oğuzalp hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Tuncer İribaş in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edvin Skålberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 56th minute, Asım Suat made a precise shot to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. Fenerbahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 58 minutes, Oğuzalp Ak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe and the Ozon Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ozon Fc booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzalp Ak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Binali Hicabi put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Fenerbahçe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ozon Fc:s goal. In the 80th minute of the match Fenerbahçe got a corner. Ozon Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tuncer İribaş ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tuncer İribaş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ozon Fc's Edvin Skålberg did a great save.
