A collision led to Adana FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Furkan Ongay hit a great ball. İsmail Cem Kaçkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Daman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuncer İribaş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, İsmail Cem Kaçkar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aras Daman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Tuncer İribaş came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Fenerbahçe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuncer İribaş couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Adana FC's goalkeeper İsmail Cem Kaçkar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oğuzalp Ak. Emirşah Serdinç hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Mahir Hanefi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Adana FC booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğurcan Oğuzalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Fenerbahçe's Gazi Seralp seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gazi Seralp the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fenerbahçe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gazi Seralp had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Adana FC's İsmail Cem Kaçkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Daman in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Aras Daman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of İsmail Cem Kaçkar, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aras Daman to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demarcus Andersen in the 90th minute of play forced Adana FC's goalkeeper İsmail Cem Kaçkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Aras Daman. Ahmet Seyfi Somer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Yıldırım Yaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fenerbahçe had played much better football throughout.
