Mert Hiçsönmez scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hulki Bulut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Okanay Zabit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Başar Keçeci. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. After some careless play in the BAŞBUĞ defense, Mert Hiçsönmez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hulki Bulut. The BAŞBUĞ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hulki Bulut should have stopped the shot. Okanay Zabit's late challenge caught a Forza Beşiktaş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Okanay Zabit helped the player get up and apologised. Okanay Zabit hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Okanay Zabit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAŞBUĞ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cícero das Neves succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 29th minute, Mehmet Baler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAŞBUĞ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero das Neves in the 36th minute of play forced Forza Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Başar Keçeci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forza Beşiktaş's Başar Keçeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero das Neves in the 37th minute of play. Mehmet Baler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arın Ferhat Aktürk struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Hulki Bulut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forza Beşiktaş. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mert Hiçsönmez made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BAŞBUĞ's Bedih Suerdem got a free kick in the 55th minute. Başar Keçeci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süleyman Taşkınay in the 58th minute of play. Mehmet Baler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5-2 became the score in the 62nd minute when Cícero das Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Süleyman Taşkınay made a precise shot to the right of Başar Keçeci. Forza Beşiktaş's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Cícero das Neves took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Başar Keçeci. Başar Keçeci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. 81 minutes into the game, BAŞBUĞ's Okanay Zabit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Başar Keçeci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. Başar Keçeci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süleyman Taşkınay in the 87th minute of play. BAŞBUĞ's Cícero das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Süleyman Taşkınay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAŞBUĞ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Süleyman Taşkınay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mert Hiçsönmez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Forza Beşiktaş's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 94 minutes, Mehmet Baler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAŞBUĞ and the Forza Beşiktaş players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes BAŞBUĞ got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Baler. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BAŞBUĞ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Forza Beşiktaş had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
