Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mert Hiçsönmez took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Gazi Seralp got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Oğuzalp Ak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forza Beşiktaş the free kick. After 4 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzalp Ak. Başar Keçeci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evren Tanfer in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Emrah Yağızkan suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The audience was convinced that Tuncer İribaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Başar Keçeci was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Uğurcan Oğuzalp got a free kick in the 15th minute. Başar Keçeci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Daman in the 18th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Fenerbahçe's Evren Tanfer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Başar Keçeci was left in no man's land by his defense there! Başar Keçeci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncer İribaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Aras Daman came free, but Başar Keçeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuncer İribaş kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Fenerbahçe were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuncer İribaş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Aras Daman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başar Keçeci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuncer İribaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Başar Keçeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Forza Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Umur Kökten hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Aysan Dervişoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Başar Keçeci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzalp Ak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necip Fazıl Vefik in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Forza Beşiktaş's zone, Evren Tanfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Başar Keçeci came out of the goal and Evren Tanfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fenerbahçe played a much better game than Forza Beşiktaş and deserved their victory. The Forza Beşiktaş players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
