The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Kültepe Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. After 14 minutes, Abdullah Atik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seferihisar İdman Gücü and the Kültepe Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. 22 minutes into the game, Bora Bülbül was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seferihisar İdman Gücü the free kick. Rüknettin Demirbaş had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Öztürk Akay from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 24th play minutes Öztürk Akay shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Rüknettin Demirbaş and just under the crossbar into goal. Orhan Veli Maksut charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orhan Veli Maksut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kültepe Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Orhan Veli Maksut hit a great ball. Öztürk Akay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rüknettin Demirbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenan Usluer's late challenge caught a Kültepe Spor Kulübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenan Usluer helped the player get up and apologised. Doğa Ustam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rüknettin Demirbaş came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Öztürk Akay. But to his dismay, Öztürk Akay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Rüknettin Demirbaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerim Sulhi. 40 minutes into the game, Öztürk Akay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kültepe Spor Kulübü the free kick. Öztürk Akay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüknettin Demirbaş having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Ali Numan Orbey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüknettin Demirbaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ali Numan Orbey made the kick off in the second half. Rüknettin Demirbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Öztürk Akay in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Öztürk Akay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüknettin Demirbaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Rüknettin Demirbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Öztürk Akay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Kerim Sulhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüknettin Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlkan Saygılı was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mürsel Can. After some careless play in the Kültepe Spor Kulübü defense, Ali Numan Orbey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. The Kültepe Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rüknettin Demirbaş should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Seferihisar İdman Gücü were the better team. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
