The crowd rose to their feet as Yaşar Akbuğ kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Okanalp Kutlubay. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. With a little luck, AYYILDIZ's Okanalp Kutlubay got control of the ball when Yaşar Akbuğ tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, AYYILDIZ's goal looked a bit too open when Yaşar Akbuğ came free, but Okanalp Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AYYILDIZ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aykutalp Evcimen hit a great ball. After 32 minutes, Erkut Uğursay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AYYILDIZ and the HORIZZONT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Erkut Uğursay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaşar Akbuğ got free with Okanalp Kutlubay in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rüştü Recber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Ali Enginalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Tansu Bağışhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Recber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, HORIZZONT's Yaşar Akbuğ got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tansu Bağışhan to make the kick off. Tansu Bağışhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüştü Recber having to interfere. HORIZZONT's Rüştü Recber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save HORIZZONT from getting a goal against them. Jan Kratěna charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Kratěna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Babürşah in the 59th minute of play forced AYYILDIZ's goalkeeper Okanalp Kutlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AYYILDIZ's Okanalp Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Akbuğ in the 61st minute of play. Okanalp Kutlubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaşar Akbuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Arif Babürşah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bektaş Ali Enginalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rüştü Recber made a huge save. Arif Babürşah charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Okanalp Kutlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaşar Akbuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the AYYILDIZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HORIZZONT.
