ZENO's Cahit Ekşioğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save ZENO from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Refik İribaş hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Cahit Ekşioğlu made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Suphi Dalayer sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, ZENO's goal looked a bit too open when Faik İçöz came free, but Cahit Ekşioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Refik İribaş came free, but Mehmet Arif Serir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, ZENO's goal looked a bit too open when Suphi Dalayer came free, but Cahit Ekşioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Tolstoy charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lev Tolstoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Lev Tolstoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hüsnü Mukaddes might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cahit Ekşioğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüsnü Mukaddes ran back to his position shaking his head. ZENO's Cahit Ekşioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suphi Dalayer in the 34th minute of play. Mehmet Arif Serir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Refik İribaş in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lev Tolstoy in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Arif Serir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ZENO were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after SOFiNiN KEDiSi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Levent Uçanay took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Levent Uçanay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Arif Serir quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 47 minutes into the match, ZENO's goal looked a bit too open when Faik İçöz came free, but Cahit Ekşioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faik İçöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Refik İribaş's late challenge caught a SOFiNiN KEDiSi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Refik İribaş helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ZENO getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ahmet Refik İribaş hit a great ball. Pablo Neruda hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes, Ali Asım Şensal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOFiNiN KEDiSi and the ZENO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ZENO booed when SOFiNiN KEDiSi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Asım Şensal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faik İçöz in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cahit Ekşioğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Mehmet Arif Serir successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cahit Ekşioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suphi Dalayer in the 73rd minute of the match. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Faik İçöz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, ZENO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yüksel Zekai to maneuver through the defense. Suphi Dalayer took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cahit Ekşioğlu. Cahit Ekşioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Özer Cebeci got a free kick in the 86th minute. Levent Uçanay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Mehmet Arif Serir made a huge save. When Faik İçöz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the SOFiNiN KEDiSi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faik İçöz couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Faik İçöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cahit Ekşioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
