Mehmet Uğurlu hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Hamdi Sökmensu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gazi Açıkgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykan Kutsan in the 14th minute of the match. Aykan Kutsan scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gazi Açıkgün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bayhan Uluman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes, Hamdi Sökmensu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ÜSTEĞMEN FK and the POZANTI SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of POZANTI SPOR booed when ÜSTEĞMEN FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdi Sökmensu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aykan Kutsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gazi Açıkgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayhan Uluman in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Aykan Kutsan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gazi Açıkgün. ÜSTEĞMEN FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aykan Kutsan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to ÜSTEĞMEN FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Çağlar Çağlayan hit a great ball. ÜSTEĞMEN FK's Gazi Açıkgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ege Onursoy in the 31st minute of play. If Aykan Kutsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. POZANTI SPOR's Clodio Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdi Sökmensu in the 39th minute of play. When Ege Onursoy, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gazi Açıkgün was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Clodio Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çetin Ceviz. 44 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Çağlayan Çağlar came free, but Clodio Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Çağlayan Çağlar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodio Taffarel was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. ÜSTEĞMEN FK's Gazi Açıkgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayhan Uluman in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

In the 51st minute, Hamdi Sökmensu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÜSTEĞMEN FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After taking down the ball on ÜSTEĞMEN FK's corner Hamdi Sökmensu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clodio Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, POZANTI SPOR's Ege Onursoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gazi Açıkgün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Clodio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çetin Ceviz in the 61st minute of play. Aykan Kutsan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Gazi Açıkgün 63 minutes into the match. Aykan Kutsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gazi Açıkgün having to interfere. Gazi Açıkgün made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Dries Mertens sent off a good shot on target. After 70 minutes ÜSTEĞMEN FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dries Mertens who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ÜSTEĞMEN FK's goalie and right to Aykan Kutsan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ÜSTEĞMEN FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Clodio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağlayan Çağlar in the 76th minute of play. Mehmet Uğurlu charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Uğurlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çetin Ceviz in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ÜSTEĞMEN FK's zone, Bayhan Uluman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gazi Açıkgün came out of the goal and Bayhan Uluman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, ÜSTEĞMEN FK's goalkeeper Gazi Açıkgün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ege Onursoy. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ege Onursoy got free with Gazi Açıkgün in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dries Mertens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gazi Açıkgün firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle sounded POZANTI SPOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ÜSTEĞMEN FK.
