Batıhan Ergüder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Necip Fazıl Onat was a little too slow when Aydın Akaydın got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. Duško Tadic hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Cevdet Vecih blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Batıhan Ergüder having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Fuat Saraç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necip Fazıl Onat was a little too slow when Aydın Akaydın got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. BEŞİKTAŞK's Bulut İrgun pulled a muscle in his leg after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 33 minutes into the game, Arif Burak Münir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. H E P T A N FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEŞİKTAŞK the free kick. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for H E P T A N FC! The referee gave BEŞİKTAŞK a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ragıp Çetiner, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of H E P T A N FC's Batıhan Ergüder. 2-2. 40 minutes into the match, Eser Vezir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necip Fazıl Onat. BEŞİKTAŞK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eser Vezir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Ilgaz Üzer sped through H E P T A N FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Batıhan Ergüder. In the 46th minute Aydın Akaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necip Fazıl Onat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batıhan Ergüder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgaz Üzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilgaz Üzer to make the kick off. With his leg Batıhan Ergüder managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when BEŞİKTAŞK's Ilgaz Üzer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilgaz Üzer got free with Batıhan Ergüder in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ragıp Çetiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıhan Ergüder having to interfere. Batıhan Ergüder didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 3-5. Batıhan Ergüder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ilgaz Üzer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-6 in the 73 minute of play. In the 86th minute Kubilay Sefik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıhan Ergüder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilgaz Üzer in the 88th minute of play forced H E P T A N FC's goalkeeper Batıhan Ergüder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
