The STARS TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veli Özbek should have stopped the shot. If Bilgin Yenisey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Veli Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aha Gol in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of CAN ERZURUM booed when STARS TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sertel Rahmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Mustafa Ali Nadir notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of STARS TEAM's Veli Özbek. Veli Özbek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akın Dalan got free with Adem El Abidine Ben Ali in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adem El Abidine Ben Ali was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albérico Cortez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 26 minute of play. Adem El Abidine Ben Ali made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Atilla Kağan Nevzat sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Adem El Abidine Ben Ali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilla Kağan Nevzat. Adem El Abidine Ben Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albérico Cortez in the 33rd minute of play. Veli Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Ali Nadir in the 39th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aha Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Veli Özbek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aha Gol in the 53rd minute of play forced STARS TEAM's goalkeeper Veli Özbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. STARS TEAM's Veli Özbek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aha Gol in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Aha Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veli Özbek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, STARS TEAM's Atilla Kağan Nevzat got a free kick in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Mustafa Ali Nadir recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Veli Özbek. Mustafa Ali Nadir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. A collision led to STARS TEAM getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Birol Harmanda hit a great ball. Bilgin Yenisey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veli Özbek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to CAN ERZURUM getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Onur Akçam hit a great ball. The CAN ERZURUM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CAN ERZURUM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
