DEMİREL.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Mountain State the free kick. Mehmet Tekinay charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Tekinay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Tekinay. Rüstem Akatay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artun Şenyurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Emir Başkur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Uğurcan Tanören sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rüstem Akatay skillfully saved the ball. İlkan Canberk kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Artun Şenyurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüstem Akatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Selçuk Sağan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yalçın Olgunay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Muhsin Taze hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Yalçın Olgunay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hikmet Türkoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Halisdemir in the 41st minute of play forced DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper Rüstem Akatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuralp Şahinkan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hikmet Türkoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhsin Taze to maneuver through the defense. DEMİREL.FC's Serhan Genç couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 51st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Blue Mountain State. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Artun Şenyurt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Mountain State's supporters rose to their feet, but Artun Şenyurt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüstem Akatay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artun Şenyurt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Rüstem Akatay made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in DEMİREL.FC's zone, Artun Şenyurt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüstem Akatay came out of the goal and Artun Şenyurt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emir Başkur kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. DEMİREL.FC's Rüstem Akatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Halisdemir in the 65th minute of play. Melquiades Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melquiades Gonzalez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A hard shot 74 in the game by Artun Şenyurt from a close distance when the talented Rüstem Akatay managed to make a qualified save. DEMİREL.FC's players were relieved. Mehmet Tekinay kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Fikri Kutsalmis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rüstem Akatay. DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Omer Halisdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Tekinay. When Blue Mountain State's Artun Şenyurt in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ömer Rıza Yankı was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, one of Blue Mountain State:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blue Mountain State. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DEMİREL.FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blue Mountain State had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
