The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsmail Kılıçhan during the 8th minute. Blue Mountain State's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ersin İlkutay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Barışcan Kutberk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macit Zafer in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Ersin İlkutay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yalçın Olgunay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Resul Toralp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yalçın Olgunay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when TEAMNAME was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmail Kılıçhan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
