King Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşık Adıbelli in the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ergin Balkan got free with Emin Erek in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the H E P T A N defense, Victoriano Frances kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of King Mondragon. The H E P T A N fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that King Mondragon should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Aşık Adıbelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Fikret User mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H E P T A N and the SARI ZEYBEK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aşık Adıbelli in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck King Mondragon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aşık Adıbelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
