The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Yahya Gümüşcü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybora Atabek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Selçuk Sağan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baybora Atabek. Selçuk Sağan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Cengiz Kakisim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birdal Sebil having to interfere. Mehmet Tekinay hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Birdal Sebil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uygur Kutlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Sungurhan Tuncay. GEOMATİC FK were furious when Samet Batıkan was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of GEOMATİC FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DEMİREL.FC:s goal. When Cengiz Kakisim fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GEOMATİC FK's protests and gave Cengiz Kakisim a yellow card for diving instead. Cengiz Kakisim kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Sungurhan Tuncay kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Bayram Lütufkâr came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the DEMİREL.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bayram Lütufkâr couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uygur Kutlu was the one to do the kick off. Uygur Kutlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birdal Sebil having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper Birdal Sebil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Süruri Şanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Süruri Şanalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Yahya Gümüşcü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, GEOMATİC FK's Süruri Şanalp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Süruri Şanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Birdal Sebil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see DEMİREL.FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
