Nevşehirspor's Turan Cansever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Nevşehirspor from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Ulu Şavat got a free kick in the 4th minute. LOI's Erenay Zorbey shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Turan Cansever but with some difficulty. After 6 minutes, Oğuzer Tun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOI and the Nevşehirspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzer Tun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alp Yaşar's late challenge caught a Nevşehirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alp Yaşar helped the player get up and apologised. Vahdet Uçanok came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Nevşehirspor's Ulu Şavat. But to his dismay, Ulu Şavat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Ulu Şavat came free, but Vahdet Uçanok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Şensoy Gülen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Turan Cansever saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Turan Cansever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Önder İlsak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Nevşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Necati Türkol. Ulu Şavat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vahdet Uçanok read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Turan Cansever made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Önder İlsak sent off a good shot on target. Şenel Nasr made a great header on LOI's corner, it was just that Nevşehirspor's Turan Cansever managed to reach the ball for a save. LOI were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Nevşehirspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alp Yaşar took the corner. The corner ended in Alp Yaşar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nevşehirspor's Turan Cansever did a great save. 44 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Ulu Şavat came free, but Vahdet Uçanok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oğuzer Tun came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Turan Cansever could save by the left post.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulu Şavat to make the kick off. Şensoy Gülen scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Turan Cansever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LOI's Vahdet Uçanok proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save LOI from getting a goal against them. In the 62ndth minute of the game Önder İlsak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nevşehirspor's Turan Cansever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 minutes of play, LOI's Oğuzer Tun made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turan Cansever was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vahdet Uçanok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulu Şavat in the 69th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Alp Yaşar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Turan Cansever quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. LOI were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Nevşehirspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alp Yaşar took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Oğuzer Tun got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Şensoy Gülen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Cansever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, LOI's Alp Yaşar got a free kick in the 80th minute. Abuzer Uca charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abuzer Uca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Nevşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abuzer Uca to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes, LOI's Alp Yaşar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Turan Cansever came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LOI reached it. 90 minutes into the match, Önder İlsak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Turan Cansever. Nevşehirspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Önder İlsak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Numan Tüzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Rıfat Hazlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Önder İlsak might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Turan Cansever. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Önder İlsak ran back to his position shaking his head. LOI walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
